Petra Schweiger

Co-founder & Supply Chain Lead

Petra has spent more than two decades in the textile and apparel industry, including ten-plus years as a senior sourcing and manufacturing executive for Esprit, Mothercare and O’Neill in Dhaka and Hong Kong, where she steered teams across sustainable sourcing, purchasing, and production. As a sustainability consultant and former fractional executive with Accelerating Circularity, ReHubs, and The R Collective, she has built circularity programmes and led the transition from pilot scale to commercial integration of textile-to-textile recycling. Her work across start-ups, non-profits, and multi-stakeholder initiatives has one constant: transforming supply chains from the inside.

Christian Schimper

Co-founder & Technology Lead

Christian bridges scientific innovation and industrial application. As a cellulose chemist with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and co-founder of Acticell, he developed environmentally friendly denim treatment technologies that were commercialised with global industry leaders DyStar and Jeanologia and are now used in industrial denim production worldwide. Today he leads a research centre for textile recycling and circular economy solutions, developing new technologies for industrial deployment. His career has one through-line: translating research into industrial applications and bringing them to market, exactly what scalable, transparent and economically viable circular textile value chains need now.
